Bedingungslose Soziale Arbeit in der Gemeindepsychiatrie

  • Christin Schörmann

摘要

Social work in community psychiatry has the task of enabling people to participate in society to the greatest extent possible. In this field of activity, the use of institutionalized services is generally linked to the attribution of a mental illness. Instead of enabling participation, this condition actually prevents recipients from taking advantage of the services. The article considers how this barrier to participation could be lowered by making the use of social work services in community psychiatric contexts unconditional and thus de-stigmatizing. He concludes with the suggestion that the experience-based perspectives of people with experience of crisis and psychiatry should be included to a greater extent.
