摘要

In this article, current child and youth welfare in Germany is read from a solidarity-inspired perspective. The guiding questions are who is thought of and addressed as a recipient of help in child and youth welfare, who can claim benefits under what conditions, who is excluded from this, and how an unconditional understanding of solidarity can expand the existing debates. Based on theoretical considerations and empirical references, a transtopian idea for unconditional solidarity in child and youth welfare—as an impetus for a debate in other arenas of the social sphere—is developed below.
