A Novel 2 × 3 Array Antenna for Broadband 5G Communication and Efficient Wireless Applications

The advanced 5G communication requires high bandwidth and gain to perform better. This paper analyses the printed 2 × 3 array antenna for 5G and wireless communication. The suggested Array antenna has a width of 45.2 mm and a length of 45.2 mm. The bandwidths of 4.8 GHz and 5.3 GHz, are achieved with bandwidth notches at 27.57 GHz and 39 GHz, respectively, which covers the 5G advanced 28/39 band in the range of 25.8–31.6 GHz and 34.7–40 GHz. The proposed antenna depicts a high directive nature with 10.2, 8.96 dBi directivity and corresponding resonate frequency in the mm-wave 5G Fr2 range for wireless applications. The proposed antenna has peak gain 6.75 and 5.8 dBi, with a front-back ratio of 21 dB and a return loss of 56 dB, respectively. The antenna has cover n257 and n260 bands that have advanced 5G applications. The proposed antenna is fabricated and validated the CST simulated findings with a promising agreement with the help of VNA and measurements carried out with the presence of absorber. It covers various efficient wireless applications in the Fr2 range of 5G communications.
