摘要

The present research work evaluates the influence of low-frequency vibration on vibration-assisted electrical discharge drilling (VA-EDD) of Al-TiB2. The tests were conducted on a self-developed experimental setup. The methodology on which tests were performed was the face-centred central composite design (FC-CCD) technique. This study is done to find the effect of peak current (Ip), pulse on time (Ton), pulse off time (Toff), tool rotation (TR), and vibration amplitude (VA). The outcomes which were investigated are MRR and SR. The results of this investigation contribute to establishing a relationship between different VA-EDD process parameters in terms of mathematical model.
