<p>This article focuses on the responsibilities of high school and college geometry teachers in providing their students with a set of carefully chosen geometric tasks that trigger interest and curiosity in their students and help them become active and engaged learners. We provide two geometric tasks as guidelines for geometry teachers to challenge their students to leave their comfort zones and think outside the box. We also provide two applets to help students explore a variety of geometrical cases that might lead them to a viable proof without words. These geometric tasks are excellent examples of group work projects and can relieve the burden of grade competition as students work collaboratively.</p>
