<p>In Part I<sup>1</sup> of the article, we explicitly discussed the meaning and significance of the chemical potential for particles in harmonic oscillator potential, and in Part II<sup>2</sup>, we explained the significance of ideal classical gas and Bose gas. In this part, we explain the chemical potential for photons and then discuss the case of fermions using some pedagogical models.</p>
