On the “Forgotten” Euler Inertial Force
摘要
In this manuscript, I discuss the essence and properties of the Euler inertial force. First, I present a detailed and gentle derivation of the equation defining this force. Next, I analyse several examples involving the necessity to use this kind of inertial force. Finally, I construct the theory of the Foucault pendulum in a non-uniformly rotating reference frame.
