Li1.2Ni0.13Co0.13Mn0.54O2 of Al2O3-coating cathode for high-performance lithium-ion batteries

摘要

In the current field of lithium battery energy storage, some commonly used cathode materials have been unable to meet some large-scale intelligent energy storage equipment. Layered lithium-rich manganese-based cathode materials have great development potential due to their high capacity and high operating voltage. However, it currently has fast capacity decay and poor rate performance, because the layered structure of the material can easily collapse during the cycle. To solve this problem, we modified the surface of the material with Al2O3 coating. The results show that the performance of modified material is significantly improved because of the reduction in corrosion on the electrode. The electrochemical performance has also been improved in the full-cell system. Moreover, the pouch cell of modified electrode has also been measured, but the device is not affected under different bending states, indicating that the modified electrode presents a promising application in the field of flexible electronic devices.
