  • Pavlos Topalnakos

摘要

Directive 2010/64/EU is crucial in ensuring that defendants throughout the EU can understand and participate in criminal proceedings, regardless of their language skills. It seeks to uphold fairness and integrity within the EU justice system by mandating the provision of interpretation and translation services. The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has played a significant role in interpreting and applying this Directive, addressing several critical issues. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the CJEU’s perspective on these matters.
