摘要

Nanoparticles are new tools used in bone tissue work that may help with bone healing and growth. Research shows that different metal nanoparticles can enhance the strength and compatibility of materials used for repairs and can also carry drugs and growth agents. Additionally, nanoparticles have been shown to positively influence mesenchymal stem cells and speed up the healing of bones. Biosynthesized nanoparticles can be a good option for clinical use in bone surgeries due to their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and can also help improve the bone healing process. Nanoparticles can be made in different ways such as biological, physical, and chemical methods. Nowadays, the biological way has gained interest from researchers everywhere because it is safe, stable, and biocompatible. This review attempts to discuss studies that investigated the effects of biosynthesized metal nanoparticles in bone regenerative medicine.
