摘要

The principal aim of this study is to enhance the performance of the cylinder block system in a cast iron production facility. By analyzing each subsystem and its associated parameters, our study extensively assesses the system’s performance using stochastic Petri nets simulation modeling. This paper comprehensively examines the performance matrix to obtain important insights into each subsystem’s efficiency. This data can create a maintenance priority hierarchy that will help focus our interventions and enhance the system’s overall functionality. Establishing a priority maximizes efforts in areas significantly influencing the cylinder block production process. In addition, this research examines the dynamic correlation between the availability of systems and repair efforts. Systematically assessing how repairman interventions affect the duration of a system’s up-time will improve our understanding of the intricate connection between upkeep tasks and the system’s overall robustness. In addition, it also analyzes the field of system availability, where we investigate the effects of adding more repair efforts. Through a comprehensive analysis with license-based Petri nets on Petri module GRIF-2023.7 software, we can evaluate the system’s effectiveness and the influence of human resources on the system’s overall availability.
