FindingsThe cancer treatment related cardiotoxicity can cause arrhythmias through direct and indirect mechanisms. The foundation of cardio-oncology involves cardiovascular risk assessment of cancer patients and careful assessment of cardiotoxicity profiles of cancer treatment balancing the risk and benefits of cancer treatments. This is best achieved through a multidisciplinary approach fashion dealing with the theoretical risk of cardiotoxicity and early recognition of actual development of cardiotoxicity throughout cancer journey and beyond. Artificial intelligence is a potential tool that can make delivery of care more effective and efficient for cardio-oncology patients.
