摘要

We have built a new prototype solar water heater capable of heating 70 L of water for sanitary use. It is a very simple system that requires no energy input and is low cost, using local materials. It essentially consists of three main parts: collecting solar radiation, converting this radiation into thermal energy to heat the water, and distributing the hot water. The novelty of this work lies mainly in the mobile blackened screens, which allow for greater radiation from the radiator. Temperature and solar radiation measurements were taken after the device was designed. The device heated water to a maximum temperature of 46.8°C between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., with average solar radiation of 412 W/m2. The solar water heater uses solar radiation to produce domestic hot water. We undertook a performance study of a flat plate solar water collector without glass. The system is 23% efficient.
