<p>In the present study, we use almost sectorial operators to investigate the approximate controllability of Hilfer fractional (HF) neutral stochastic integro-differential systems. The analysis is conducted through the application of the fixed point technique, fractional calculus, stochastic analysis idea, almost sectorial operators, and multi-valued maps. Initially, we establish the existence of a mild solution to the fractional system, followed by a detailed examination of its approximate controllability. Additionally, an example is given to support the theoretical portion.</p>
