<p>Reduced Biquaternion Elastic Network (RBQEN) method is a novel image recovery technique that combines an reduced biquaternion structure with an elastic network. The method innovatively utilizes the reduced biquaternion linear operator to process the red, green and blue channels simultaneously, making full use of the inter-channel correlation to enhance the recovery efficiency. By combining with the elastic network framework, the problem is transformed into a semi-quadratic optimization task and solved by using the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM), which results in efficient and robust image recovery. The experimental results also verify the effectiveness and robustness of the RBQEN method and its adaptive version (ARBQEN) in image recovery.</p>
