摘要

The selection of safe construction distance (SCD) for tunneling is directly related to construction safety, structural safety, construction equipment efficiency, and project progress. SCD study is an important means to improve the quality and efficiency of mechanized construction and underground engineering and to ensure the safety of construction. On this basis, we summarize engineering projects that adjusted SCD, establish corresponding numerical models for the Lushan Tunnel project, and adopt discrete element analysis to analyze its SCD under the conditions of different construction methods for Class V surrounding rock. Results show that the ultimate SCD of the Lushan Tunnel with Class V surrounding rock is 60 m. The on-site monitoring data are quite consistent with the numerical simulation results, verifying the feasibility of the numerical simulation. This study concept can be applied to the analysis of tunneling safety issues in engineering projects with different requirements and provide a reference for the dynamic adjustment of tunneling plans.
