Vibration Motion Analysis in NIR Video Frame Segments: Kinematic Tracking and Segmented Stability Assessment Using Hilbert and Fourier Transforms

This study presents a motion analysis framework for near-infrared (NIR) video sequences that integrates centroid tracking with four-region motion segmentation (upper, lower, front, and back). The framework extracts comprehensive kinematic metrics, including magnitude, direction, curvature, velocity, acceleration, jerk, kinetic energy, momentum, and resultant force, and evaluates motion stability using Hilbert and Fourier Transforms. These analyses enable characterization of oscillatory behavior and vibration dynamics. Although applicable to various types of motion, the study focuses on human movement, providing detailed insights into coordination and stability with potential applications in sports performance, rehabilitation, and biomechanics research.
