Image encryption algorithm for 3D-hyperchaotic systems driven by nonlinear feedback mechanism
摘要
In the digital era, image security has become a paramount concern across various domains, including social media, e-commerce, and medical imaging. Traditional image protection methods, such as data hiding and image steganography, often fall short in ensuring robust security. This paper introduces an advanced image encryption algorithm leveraging a 3D hyperchaotic system driven by a nonlinear feedback mechanism. By analyzing the dynamic characteristics of the proposed chaotic system, we demonstrate its superior parameter flexibility, stable chaotic intensity, and broad chaotic range. The encryption algorithm employs an internal obfuscation algorithm between bit planes and a global scrambling diffusion process, significantly enhancing the security of encrypted images. Experimental results validate the high security and robust performance of our algorithm, with NPCR and UACI values of 99.6102% and 33.4614%, respectively, surpassing many existing methods. This research offers a secure and feasible solution for image encryption, effectively countering typical security threats.
