Encrypted image reversibility in data hiding on the basis of grouping encoding
摘要
Reversible data hiding in encrypted images (RDHEI) technology is an effective manner to protect the hidden secrecy and cover context in the public data transmission. This paper proposes an improved RDHEI method that creates space before encryption. It involves dividing the image into non-overlapping groups, predicting the image to generate a predicted image, and utilizing the relationship between the original and predicted images to encode and compress each group. The resulting compressed image frees up space, allowing confidential information to be embedded after encryption. The proposed method successfully extracts and restores all the information from the original image. It also improves the block coding method by resolving the challenge of reference pixels that cannot be accurately coded. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of our approach in enhancing the embedding of confidential information.
