Die Neuregelung der Unterbringung in einer Entziehungsanstalt nach § 64 StGB – rechtliche und praktische Gesichtspunkte

The amendment of the placement of offenders addicted to drugs in a forensic rehabilitation clinic, which came into force on 1 October 2023, is intended to slow down the constant increase in the number of placements in forensic clinics. The article discusses the changes in the law from a legal perspective and also the difficulties in the clinical practice with the new provisions.
