<p><i>Vacerra</i> Godman, 1900 is a Neotropical genus of skippers (Lepidoptera: Hesperiidae, Hesperiinae, Hesperiini, Hesperiina) that currently includes nine species and six subspecies. As part of our research, we examined specimens from the Padre Jesus Santiago Moure and Olaf Hermann Hendrik Mielke collections, both located at the Universidade Federal do Paraná&#xa0;in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, and National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, USA. During this study, we discovered specimens with morphological characteristics that do not match any previously described species or subspecies within <i>Vacerra</i>. Consequently, this paper aims to formally describe two new taxa: <i>Vacerra helenae</i> sp. n., from Torres, Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil, and <i>Vacerra hermesia salta</i> spp. n., from Salta, Argentina. Detailed diagnoses and descriptions of the adult morphology, with a focus on genital characteristics, are presented. Both newly described taxa are distinguished from other members of the genus <i>Vacerra</i> based on the distinctive pattern of spots on their wings, offering new insights into the diversity of this group.</p>
