摘要

Cold plasma has emerged as a promising method for manipulating physiological and biochemical processes in plant biology. Recent research endeavors have explored its potential applications across various aspects of this field, including seed germination, the management of abiotic stress, seed disinfection, and the modulation of macromolecule levels. This comprehensive review aims to shed light on the generation of cold plasma, its interactions with plants, particularly its role in seed germination, and the factors that influence its effectiveness as a treatment method. The gathered insights affirm that cold plasma, as an operational technique at room temperature, possesses the capability to effectively modulate a myriad of plant processes, encompassing hormonal responses, seed germination, water uptake, stress resilience, and macromolecule regulation.
