<p>Colorectal surgery has seen an exponential rise in use of robotics in the past decade. Whilst Intuitive’s multiport platforms dominate the market share, several other systems are in use across the globe. This review sets out to describe the components of these systems, discuss their pros and cons, and analyze the data which underpins their safety, efficacy and efficiency in resectional colorectal surgery.</p>
