摘要

In present manuscript, magnetically separable Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) have been prepared by a green synthesis approach using sapodilla leaf extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. The catalytic efficiency of Fe3O4 NPs was explored for the one-pot multicomponent synthesis of 1-(o-Aminobenzoyl)-2-benzylidenehydrazines through the reaction of aldehydes, isatoic anhydride, and hydrazine hydrate in ethanol at ambient temperature. The protocol offers notable advantages, such as environmentally benign catalyst preparation, mild reaction conditions, operational simplicity, facile product isolation, and purification achieved by simple recrystallization. The catalyst exhibited excellent magnetic recoverability and recyclability, maintaining its catalytic efficiency over five consecutive reaction cycles without significant loss in the yield of products. Overall, the developed methodology aligns sharply with key principles of green chemistry and provides an efficient and sustainable route for the synthesis of 1-(o-Aminobenzoyl)-2-benzylidenehydrazines.
