Ferromagnetic and supercapacitive properties of 2D Co–Ni–Gd nanoflake on copper substrate
摘要
The fabrication of 2D nanoflake nanostructures has huge consideration due to its extreme specific surface area, abundant functional sites, chemical steadiness, and greater electrical conduction. The 2D transition metal–rare-earth-based thin film is considered for a promising magnetic and electroactive material due to its moderate price and prospect of controllable nanostructures. The controlled synthesis and uniform deposition of Co–Ni–Gd/Cu 2D nanoflake, 2D nanoleaves thin film were fabricated via simple and inexpensive electrodeposition method. The average crystalline size of the electrodes for the pH = 8, 9, and 10 is 51.8, 37.5, and 27.4 nm, respectively. Photoluminescence measurements showed that the Co–Ni–Gd thin films exhibited strong blue emission peak at 468 nm and weak orange emission of peak at 590 nm. Two-dimensional nanoflake Co–Ni–Gd/Cu film at pH = 10 with lower film thickness belongs to the soft ferromagnetic material. The electrochemical features are attributed to the larger accessible area of 2D nanoflakes construction and also the quick ion diffusion in the activeness sites. These studies may be the first ever report on hierarchical Co–Ni–Gd/Cu nanoflakes for magnetic and electrochemical energy storage applications.
