<p>The current study aimed to evaluate the impact of Metabolic and Bariatric surgery (MBS) on patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) and obesity. A systematic search was performed in the PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. A total of 15 studies with 887 patients were included. Our results showed that MBS was associated with intracranial pressure (ICP) reduction with a mean difference of -15.79&#xa0;mm/Hg (95% CI: –21.38, –10.31, I2 = 85.79%, <i>P</i> &lt; 0.001). Furthermore, MBS was associated with significant resolution of headache, papilledema, and visual disturbances in patients with obesity and IIH. These findings indicate that MBS could improve IIH and decrease symptoms. These findings highlight the significant impact of weight loss achieved through MBS on patients with IIH.</p>
