<p>A&#xa0;5-year-old boy suffered a&#xa0;severe dog bite injury resulting in a&#xa0;rare non-union of the right clavicle. After transplantation of a&#xa0;non-vascularized fibular graft, both the recipient and donor sites showed fully restored anatomy and function. Due to the high rate of osteointegration and the regeneration of the donor site, non-vascularized fibular grafting is a&#xa0;safe method for bridging osseous defects in childhood.</p>

摘要

A 5-year-old boy suffered a severe dog bite injury resulting in a rare non-union of the right clavicle. After transplantation of a non-vascularized fibular graft, both the recipient and donor sites showed fully restored anatomy and function. Due to the high rate of osteointegration and the regeneration of the donor site, non-vascularized fibular grafting is a safe method for bridging osseous defects in childhood.
