Magnetresonanztomographie am Schultergelenk
摘要
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic technique that considerably expands the evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders. The ability to accurately interpret MRI images is often a great help for both conservative and surgical orthopedic/trauma surgeons when making treatment decisions. It is therefore important to not only rely on written reports, but also to independently conduct a comprehensive assessment of the resulting images. To carry out such an assessment, knowledge of normal anatomy and possible pathologies is essential. In addition, knowledge of technical aspects of MRI is also crucial when interpreting imaging findings.
