Field Application of High-Temperature Dissolvable Bridge Plug in Shale Gas Horizontal Well

Soluble bridge plug is a key tool to improve the speed and quality of staged fracturing, which requires system design of pressure-bearing capacity, low manufacturing cost and dissolution rate to achieve different downhole environments. In order to study the application of soluble bridge plugs made in China under real working conditions and put forward improvement measures. In this paper, with the help of field engineering examples, relying on the working steps of “quality experimental detection → application collection → stability study,” the systematic study of soluble bridge plugs from material determination to damage is realized. The results of this study are as follows: The release pressure is 15.6 MPa (converted release value is 19.66t). Matching with the driving force of the hydraulic release tool 23–25t under production conditions. The effective sealing time in various working environments is 24 h. Under the condition of different KCL solution concentrations at 90 °C, the dissolution time is 9–11 days, and 0.19–0.23 kg of cast iron and ceramic residues remain. The next step is to construct different stability research schemes under the premise of long time span, optimize the performance of bridge plug and strengthen the strength of anti-collision ring and spacer ring. At the same time, ensure the perfection of ground equipment in the construction process.
