摘要

The corrosion behavior of 6061 aluminum alloy in a simulated marine environment under direct current (DC) interference was investigated by various corrosion tests and surface analysis techniques. Experimental results indicate that when DC interference is not applied, 6061 alloy in 3.5% NaCl solution is passivated and has the smallest corrosion rate. With the application of DC, the surface protective film is dissolved, and the corrosion of 6061 alloy is aggravated, exhibiting obvious active dissolution characteristics. As DC voltage rises, the size of corrosion pit rapidly increases, indicating a higher corrosion degree. Under DC interference, the occurrence of hydrogen evolution reaction results in exfoliation corrosion of 6061 alloy.
