Realization of 4-Bit Parity Checker Circuit Using XPM Technique-Based Phase-Shifted Fiber Bragg Grating Scheme
摘要
This paper is focused on modern optical switching, which is a subject of great interest due to the high speed, secure data processing, and compact size of modern communication systems. In the optical architecture, phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (PSFBG) contributes additional features towards all-optical switching. This work proposes a modern communication system with an all-optical 4-bit parity checker circuit as an essential device within the framework of the FBG structure and cross-phase modulation (XPM)-based nonlinear switching performance. In the new era of modern communication systems and high-speed switching technology, PSFBG based on XPM also opens the path towards integrated optics and switch-in fiber as integrated optical communication.
