Visible Light Photocatalytic Degradation of Several VOCs (Ethyl Acetate, 2-Propanol, and Benzene) Over a Graphene/ZnO Composite
摘要
In this project, graphene loaded on zinc oxide and the photocatalytic activity of ZnO and graphene/ZnO composite was investigated for the degradation of volatile organic compounds (ethyl acetate, 2-propanol, and benzene) under visible light irradiation. The graphene/ZnO composite exhibited greater photocatalytic activity and removal efficiency of pollutants than ZnO. In addition, the graphene/ZnO composite effectively decomposed ethyl acetate, 2-propanol, and benzene in a mixed state under visible light irradiation. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy were used to investigate the properties of ZnO and the graphene/ZnO composite.
