<p>Alumina, AlN, and dual-phase oxy-nitride inclusions are typically anticipated in high aluminium steels and have been previously observed, albeit the reported data is scarce. Besides inclusions in the steel, an alumina fibrous structure over ingot surface was also observed in this study. Since alumina was grown outside the steel ingot, we are reporting these ‘exclusions’ in high Al steels. Microstructural characterisation and thermodynamic analysis of these observed inclusions and exclusions are elucidated.</p>

摘要
