The Research on the Stability of the Burden Surface Shape During Adjustments to the Blast Furnace Charging Procedure
摘要
The burden surface shape is a key indicator for optimizing charging adjustments in blast furnace operations, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient production. After adjusting the charging procedure, it typically takes some time for the burden surface to stabilize, and clarifying the time required for this stabilization offers valuable insights for guiding such adjustments effectively. This work analyzed the burden structure under the "central coke" and "non-central coke" charging procedures when the initial burden surface shapes are type A and type B, respectively. The results show that although the distribution of the ore-coke mass ratio varies, the mean value of the difference in the ore-coke mass ratio under each charging procedure consistently stabilizes within 0.1 after the third batch of burden is charged. The burden surface shape generally stabilizes after the third batch of burden, and the initial surface shape has no significant effect on the stabilization time, its impact is short-term. Additionally, the burden structure under the “central coke” charging procedure has better offset-resistant property during the burden descent. The present work provides a cost-effective approach for understanding and optimizing charging operations in practical BFs.
