Implementing Strategic Control of T1 and θ′ Precipitates for Achieving Superior Mechanical Performance in Al–Cu–Li Alloys
摘要
An integrated heat treatment strategy combining preageing and prestraining is employed to tailor a favorable distribution of T1 and θ′ precipitates, enabling synergistic strengthening from both the phases. The relatively balanced precipitate population results in a substantial increase in the overall precipitation hardening contribution, which is reflected in a notable rise in yield strength compared to the conventional T8 route.
