摘要

Acicular ferrite growth behavior differences in weld metals of EH36-shipbuilding steel treated with CaF2–TiO2 flux-cored wires have been documented in situ using a confocal scanning laser microscope. As the TiO2 content increases in fused fluxes, initial temperatures of acicular ferrite appearances rise from 741 K to 776.8 K, while average growth rates of acicular ferrites decrease from 22.5 to 10 μm/s. After successive transformation, relative frequencies of acicular ferrites increase from 18.6 to 39.7 pct.
