<p>We developed an integrative approach consisting of a semi-systematic literature review and a modified Delphi survey to identify research priorities in remote work-focused studies in hospitality, leisure, sport, and tourism (HLS&amp;T). Sixty research articles published by SSCI- and ESCI-indexed HLS&amp;T sources from 2014 to 2024 were analyzed using <i>Leximancer</i>. A longitudinal comparison identified three distinct theme–concept sets. One set represented the new-normal practices, and a modified Delphi survey converged on its three research priorities. Overall, our results demonstrated worldwide resilience in responding to the challenges of external public safety events, including tremendous telework-leisure adjustments and research with suitable themes.</p>
