摘要

This article in the journal Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie explores Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects spiral through the eyes of a psychodramatist. It discovers its 4‑step process and its foundations. The Work That Reconnects is a transformative process that guides individuals through gratitude, honouring pain, seeing with new eyes, and going forth into action. Rooted in systems thinking and deep ecology, it helps therapists, coaches and their clients process ecological distress, build resilience, and find renewed motivation to contribute to collective desirable futures. Three exercises that can be used as part of this process are described. A parallel is drawn between Moreno’s societal contribution and that of Joanna Macy. This article is written so that psychodramatists can discover Joanna Macy’s work and draw inspiration and new techniques from it to enrich their societal role, towards an era of regeneration.
