<p>This article in <i>the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie</i> provides an insight into how communication with the dying in the context of palliative care supports a&#xa0;successful process of dying and death, of letting go and saying goodbye. Psychodramatic interventions and basic positions are presented and their significance for accompanying the dying is described. In addition to the principles of palliative care, the effectiveness and characteristics of spiritual care are discussed. Helpful communication and dialogue techniques are also explained. A&#xa0;conclusion with the most important messages rounds off the article.</p>
