Psychische Gesundheit bei Menschen mit intellektuellen Beeinträchtigungen
摘要
People with intellectual disabilities (ID) face a variety of health-related barriers in their everyday lives, which prevent them from equal participation. Although people with ID, like everyone else, can be mentally healthy or mentally ill, it is still unclear what constitutes good mental health in this population. This article in the journal Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie provides insights into a participatory research project at the University of Vienna, which aims to approach a common understanding of good mental health in people with ID. Therefore, the perspectives of people with ID as experts on their own behalf and the views of experts from the field of mental health and ID are considered in an equal manner.
