Inklusion, Selbstbestimmung, Partizipation und Barrierefreiheit im Kontext psychotherapeutischer Versorgung von Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten

This article in the journal Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie reflects on inclusion, participation, self-determination and accessibility in the context of psychotherapeutic care for people with learning difficulties. First, the paper reports on experiences of women with learning difficulties that were analyzed in the participatory research project “Women with Learning Difficulties between Self- and Other-Determination” (Sigot 2017). Then, these experiences are analyzed focusing on aspects of sexual violence, which are often accompanied by secondary victimization through the denial of credibility and the withholding of need-based support. Finally, the presented research findings are reflected regarding their relevance for the psychotherapeutic context and considerations for psychotherapeutic practice are derived.
