Die Entmachtung der Verstecktaktik in einer akustisch barrierefreien Psychodrama-Gruppentherapie

This article in the journal Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie focuses first on the significant hiding communication tactic of hard of hearing people, called “the non-disclosers” with the aim to be perceived as a good hearing person, out of the fear to get excluded from their social group. This fear though prevents authentic encountering and development of an identity including hearing impairment, which leads often into isolation and depression. Second, I show the possibility of successful overcoming the non-disclosure with the help of an acoustic barrier-free setting and adapted psychodrama techniques. In the third chapter I discuss added values of an inclusive group therapy.
