Psychodrama mit Langzeitarbeitslosen im Gruppensetting

In this article in the “Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie” (ZPS), we would like to present intervention techniques that were offered to a heterogeneous group of long-term unemployed people over the course of ten two-hour meetings. The situation of the long-term unemployed is often precarious and jeopardises their physical and mental health. This has an impact not only on those affected, but on society as a whole and is therefore relevant. The group of long-term unemployed people were taking part in a day-structuring job centre measure lasting several months. The aim of the ten units described below was to help the participants out of unemployment with the help of psychodramatic action techniques. However, the given personal circumstances, such as the participants’ level of German language skills, educational level or status and cultural background, quickly revealed the limits of possible interventions.
