Die erschöpfte Mutter

This article of the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie tries to show and make relatable the exhaustion mothers are facing. It reflects on the role of mothers in our society and within the family. Care work, mental load and emotional load are explained. The article concludes by drawing from actual experiences from the author’s own work and provides inspiration for psychodramatic stage settings.
