This article in the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie is about the connection of the OPD‑3 Axis IV (structural level) with psychodramatic interventions. A distinction is made between techniques and arrangements. From a limited number of central techniques, a wealth of arrangements can be put together. The psychodrama techniques build on each other in their complexity and can be used in psychotherapy and counselling depending on the structural level of the patient. Conversely, the patient’s ability to implement a corresponding psychodrama technique can be used to draw diagnostic conclusions about his or her structural level.
