Zum Verständnis von Ausbilder*innen und Lehrer*innen von qualitativ hochwertiger dualer Berufsausbildung

As the training market changes from a supplier market to a demand market, companies that provide training are dependent on convincing young people who are interested in training to take up dual vocational training in their company, on providing them with the best possible qualifications and on retaining them in their own company once they have completed their vocational training. This raises the question for these companies, but also for their (potential) trainees, of what constitutes high-quality dual vocational training. However, this question is made more difficult by the fact that it has not yet been possible to establish a majority shared understanding of quality in vocational education and training.

In order to help close this research gap, a pilot study was conducted in which six guided expert interviews were conducted with three instructors from the training location company and three teachers from the training location vocational school on their ideas of high-quality dual vocational training and these were evaluated using content structuring content analysis according to Kuckartz (2018).
