„Meine Vergangenheit bringt mir viel für die Zukunft“
摘要
This article examines the role of biographical reflection in police bachelor’s programs. Using the “Professional Role Reflection” module at the University of Police and Public Administration North Rhine-Westphalia as an example, it demonstrates how prospective police officers can be prepared for professional practice through resource-oriented biographical work. Based on a systematic literature review on biographical work and individual empirical case studies, it illustrates how biographical experiences and emotional self-awareness contribute to professionalization and strengthen reflective competence and confidence in action during operations.
