Der talentierte Mr. Coach? – Eine empirische Untersuchung zu narzisstischer Grandiosität bei Coaches im Vergleich zur Normalbevölkerung

This study examines whether coaches differ significantly from the normal population in terms of their perceived grandiosity as a facet of narcissism and which variables predict grandiosity. Data from 559 participants in the Coaching Survey Germany in 2022 were analyzed. Grandiosity was determined using items from the German short version of the Narcissistic Personal Inventory (NPI-d-5). The results show that coaches have significantly higher levels of grandiosity than the general population. At the same time, there are various correlations between grandiosity, gender, age, and coaching experience.
