Although digitalization seems to have only just arrived in the “new normal” of many organizations, the next technological challenge is already waiting in the wings: The successful implementation of artificial intelligence in organizational value creation. But which psychosocial factors are relevant when introducing new technologies? How can technology acceptance be increased in change processes and technostress avoided? Does the potential of AI to become a social actor in the organizational system changes these aspects? This article discusses current developments and perspectives, offers a technostress self-check questionnaire and postulates a paradigm shift through AI.
