<p>This article in the journal GIO Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation is based on a&#xa0;qualitative secondary analysis of expert interviews from the TrEiKo project and examines how ECEC provider organizations, as hybrid organizations, address heterogeneous institutional logics. The analysis examines ECEC provider organizations as well as the intermediary functions of provider associations, coordination positions, and specialist counselling that shape the interfaces between providers, early childhood education and care centers, and their organizational environment. It identifies three interrelated strategies of action. Organizational specialization is a&#xa0;differentiation strategy carried out through coordination positions with line and professional oversight as well as through in-house or association-based specialist counselling. Together with provider leadership, these functions process external demands from economic, state, and professional logics into action-guiding orientations and secure their implementation through coordinating and specialized professional tasks. Feedback loops are conceptualized as an integration strategy that ensure continuous alignment between centers, providers, and provider associations. Network work expands this connection by shifting negotiations to institutional arenas beyond the organization, mobilizing resources and visibility there, and linking differentiating processing of external demands with integrative coordination. The findings show organizational hybridity as a&#xa0;field-typical pattern that is reflected in similar strategic patterns across provider organizations and allows field dynamics emerging from it to be identified. The article analyzes the interrelation of differentiation and integration strategies from a&#xa0;neo-institutionalist perspective and shows the central importance of intermediary functions for the professionalization of ECEC providers.</p>
